MOT Testing
I can arrange MOT and can test both petrol and diesel. A list of exactly what will be checked on your vehicle is available on the governments motoring website at direct.gov.uk. You can be assured that it will be an impartial vehicle check as there is no reason to find faults as the tester will not be doing the repairs.
The MOT can be done up to 30 days before expiry of the old MOT without losing any time on your certificate.
We do not charge for a re test.
Servicing
As much or as little can be done at your request. Generally I follow the manufacturers service schedules and use genuine or same quality parts.
Using CRG Vehicle services will not invalidate your manufacturers warranty. Please contact me to discuss vehicles details to ascertain what is necessary for your vehicle.
Vehicles can be collected and dropped off at your convenience having been serviced, road tested and valeted prior to return.

- Replace fuel filter (diesel engines)
- Check condition of HT leads and report
- Security of fuel lines handbrake cables and brake pipes
- Check condition of windscreen for chips and cracks
- Under body inspection
- Check wheel bearings for noise and excessive free play
- Lubricate bonnet catches
- Check operation of interior warning lamps
- Check engine and gearbox mounts for wear
- Carry out suspension bounce test
- Reset service lights (most models)
- Check operation of throttle cable
- Replace cabin filter (additional cost)
- Replace fuel filter (petrol engines)
- Replace gearbox oil ( manual transmission only synthetic oil at extra cost)
- Lubricate all door catches
- Check operation of all interior switches
- Check security of fuel cap
- Visually check radiator and coolant pipes for leaks
- Check cooling fan for operation ( engine )
- Road test on all services
Tyres
I can provide all makes and sizes of tyres, price included wheel balance.
Batteries
Never replaced until fully tested to ensure it is really necessary, then only the best fully guaranteed batteries are fitted.
Exhausts
Fitted and guaranteed.
Brakes
I can give a full verbal report on the condition of your brake pads, discs, shoes and drums. Where necessary I replace any components having sought approval first.
